Abstract

Im zweijährigen Abstand führt die "International Society for Music Education" einen Weltkongreß mit wechselndem Thema in je einem anderen Land und Kontinent durch. Diesem Kongreß gehen in der Regel Arbeitstagungen der einzelnen Arbeitskreise (Commissions) voraus. 1996 fand diese Arbeitstagung der Commission "Musik in Sonderpädagogik, Musiktherapie und Medizin" in Rennes, Frankreich, unter der Leitung von Alain Carré statt. Wiederum war es die internationale Besetzung der Arbeitstagung, die für einen anregenden Austausch in den drei verwandten Disziplinen: Musik in Pädagogik, Therapie und Medizin sorgte. Anwesend waren Forscherinnen und Forscher aus sieben verschiedenen Ländern (Brasilien, Großbritannien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Japan, Südafrika und USA). Das vorliegende Buch dokumentiert in 13 Aufsätzen Arbeitsweisen und Forschungsergebnisse aus diesen unterschiedlichen Ländern.
